Yorkshire Wolves Supporters Club

Who we are

We are a group of Wolves fans mainly (but not exclusively) based in Yorkshire. We have members from all over the country, all with some link to Yorkshire, no matter how tenuous!

Who can join?

Although the club is mainly based on Yorkshire, anyone is welcome to join.

There are two main points of contact:

Chairman : Dave Hughes dmhughes@blueyonder.co.uk - 07795 150860
Ticket Co-ordinator : James Atherley (Jimbo) jimbo_atherley@hotmail.com - 07807 299718

Where we meet

Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at the Commercial Inn/Railway pub in Brighouse.

There is ample parking available - and for those arriving by public transport, there is a bus stop right outside (363 from Huddersfield/Bradford) - and we're right next door to Brighouse railway station.

What are the benefits of membership?

  • Easier for you to get hold of tickets

Our ticket advisor at the WWFC office will get us all tickets seated together in one block at away matches, so you'll always be watching the match with friends. No need to sit for 20 minutes waiting for the phone to be answered - and the WWFC dont have to take a dozen different ticket orders - everyone wins!

We do ask that you contact Jimbo about your ticket requirements as quickly as possible, ideally three weeks before the match you want to go to. However, we understand life isn't always that simple so can usually put extra orders in as required.

  • We can help you get to matches

We usually organise at least two cars from Yorkshire to each Wolves match - so can help you if you need a lift to matches. Why spend three and a half hours each way on an overpriced train when you can join a group of your fellow Wolves fans?

Membership Fees

Membership is free for under-16s.
Standard membership is currently set at £5 per year for renewals and £10 per year for new members.
Family membership (covering one adult member and spouse along with and under-16s) is just the same as standard membership - £5 per year.

Club Fanzine - The Musketeer

Steve Wright is doing an excellent job of editing the club's fanzine - he's aiming to get 3 issues a year published, all of which are mailed out to members when they become available. If you have any articles you would like to contribute, please email them to him at smw@ntlworld.com Articles need not be directly connected to Wolves, or even football - this is a fanzine for the club's members - What are your earliest football memories? How did you come to support Wolves? What was the last gig you went to?
